Description:	The Desiderio, Merlot (85%) with a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon (15%)in the blend, is simply the best in the history of the house, blackish in tone and with purple highlights, warm and intense in aroma with perfectly ripe black berry fruit, sandalwood, cinnamon, and vanilla, very broad and rich on the palate, sizeable, sweet, and gratifying. This is a dramatically lush wine with a supple feel in the mouth that coats every tiny area. It is such a treat to drink, and paired with the right food is very close to heaven. This wine would be a wonderful match to a hearty lamb stew as well as dry-aged cheeses from a similar area of Italy.
