| Description: |
Bodegas Zabrin is a new project for importer Jorge Ordonez and the Gil family of Jumilla (whose value-priced wines have consistently received raves from various publications). The Atteca is a 100% Grenache produced from the estate's oldest vineyard (80-100 years). It boasts pure raspberry liqueur notes interwoven with sweet cherry, pepper, licorice, and spice characteristics. This is a light-medium-bodied red wine with fine acidity and a rich palate. This is a wonderful value of a Garnacha that drinks well above its price tag. This wine would pair very well with Pork Tenderloin drizzled with a pomegranate sauce. |
