| Description: |
The Alamos winery is a second label of Nicolas Catena. Nicolas Catena is a revolutionary winemaker and consultant in Argentina. The Alamos label is an affordable label from a great producer. With this said, these wines are excellent examples of Argentinian fruit and quality. This wine is full of rich, dense blackberry fruit and cherries on both the nose as well as the palate. Deep plum and fig flavors are smoothed out by sweet tannins and a toasty, oak finish. I would pair this smooth Cabernet with a leg of lamb braised in red wine and rosemary. |
